Winter Forest Coaster

The Story:

After a fall snowstorm left southwest Alberta under a blanket of snow, John headed out to photograph the beauty. Every time he drove through this stretch of forest on his way to more classic mountain views, he became enchanted by the abstract beauty of the snow-covered branches contrasting with the dark tones of the burned bark. The flash of golden leaves beneath added the perfect finishing touch to the scene.
