Jackrabbit Coaster – The Prayer

The Story:

After the first heavy snowfall of the year, Josiah and his family had just headed out in search of wildlife to photograph when they saw a Golden Eagle swoop down and catch this young White-tailed Jackrabbit in its talons! Incredibly, the young rabbit was able to break free and sprinted for cover. He took a moment to catch his breath after his near-death experience, and began grooming. Lying in the snow, Josiah caught this poignant moment which gives a sense of the rabbit saying a prayer of thanksgiving for its escape.
