Mother and Baby Bears Greeting Card – Sanctuary

The Story:

John and his wife, Melanie, had been quietly watching an photographing this beautiful brown-phase Black bear family as they played and browsed for food in the forest after a spring snowstorm. Eventually, the mom led her young cubs into a quiet corner of the forest and sat down, gathering her babies into her arms to nurse them and take a short nap. Using his longest lens, John was able to witness and photograph the tenderness from a distance without disturbing the magic of the moment.
