Sometimes the Early Bird gets the reward, and sometimes coming back to the breeding grounds a little too early results in a less-than-warm welcome! That’s what this pair of Mountain Bluebirds discovered after arriving back to their Rocky Mountain spring-through-summer home only to have winter still holding on for one more storm! It’s easy to focus on the beautiful blues of the male bluebirds, but Jenaya made sure to give this lovely female equal billing, and the pair in the snowy branches make for a wonderful art print.
