Porcupine Placemat – Yukon Porcupine

The Story:

In September, 2012, this adorable (but very prickly!) North American Porcupine wandered out of its forest home near Kluane National Park, Yukon Territory, and melted Jenaya’s heart. The encounter became one of her favourite memories from the field, and Yukon Porcupine has gone on to receive multiple international awards as well as being showcased in extended exhibits in the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum.

Our placemats are printed in-house on a lovely woven linen fabric

• Printed on 100% polyester linen with sewn edges
• Placemats are washable (use a cold cycle for longevity and lay flat to dry)
• We use professional inks that are safe for little (and big) hands and elbows (that’s a separate issue maybe) 🙂
