Porcupine Coaster – Yukon Porcupine

The Story:

In September, 2012, this adorable (but very prickly!) North American Porcupine wandered out of its forest home near Kluane National Park, Yukon Territory, and melted Jenaya’s heart. The encounter became one of her favourite memories from the field, and Yukon Porcupine has gone on to receive multiple international awards as well as being showcased in extended exhibits in the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum.

• We print our coasters in-house using a process called sublimation, which is the same process used to create the best Fine Art metal prints
• Coasters have an attractive dark edge for a touch of class and contrast
• We recommend hand-washing the face of the coaster if you need to clean up a spill (Dishwasher is not recommended)
