Northern Hawk Owl Coaster – Intensity in Pink

The Story:

Jenaya found this Northern Hawk Owl hunting in a blueberry farm in southwest British Columbia, far from its normal range. The deep pinks and magentas of the winter blueberry bushes after a late-season snowfall created a stunning backdrop of colour for this rare northern visitor as Jenaya crafted this memorable image.

As with all the Launsteins’ wildlife images, this is a wild animal that was not baited, called or lured in, or manipulated or harassed in any way.
