Rabbit Greeting Card – The Hare of Aishihik

The Story:

After setting up camp near the Aishihik River in southwest Yukon, Jenaya headed into the forest to see what animals she might meet and have the opportunity to photograph. When this adorable hare hopped into view in the moody evening light, she laid down, composed the scene and created this beautiful image of a snowshoe hare in its forest home. The hare has begun to change its coat from summer tones to the bright white winter phase, making for a unique “in-between” coloration!
